Psychology of Learning and Memory: Fundamental Processes
Spring 2021: Guest Lecturer
- â—‹ Undergraduate course covering fundamental theories, concepts, and empirical findings in field of learning. I lectured in two sections of the course, one taught by Dr. Lingfei Tang and the other by Dr. Qijing Yu.
- â—‹ "Emotional Influences on Learning and Memory" covered [1] how we define emotion (i.e., explained inter-related phenomenon such as subjective feelings, physiological change, behaviors, and neural correlates), [2] theories of emotional development, [3] learned emotional responses (e.g., conditioned emotional responding in rats), the impact of emotions on memory (e.g., the impact of stress on encoding and retrieval), and [4] the neural correlates of memory modulated by emotional processes
